'Tis The Season
It’s cold. It’s rainy. Mornings start with heavy fog. Sometimes frozen fog. It’s the kind of weather that just makes you want to stay inside, curl up on the couch under a blanket, make another hot cup of coffee, and finish all eight seasons of Inspector Morse on BritBox.
But life keeps moving, and so do we. Christmas shopping. Online and off. Decorating. Cooking. Wrapping. Forgetting which grandchild you bought this for.
More coffee to help the brain fog lift.
I’m sitting here at Panera at 6:10 AM drinking my 2nd cup of coffee of the day. I’m a little unsettled not knowing exactly how to fill the next 30 to 45 minutes. The book is done. It’s uploaded. Approved. Ready for sale.
I’m just waiting on my proof copy before I publicize it. But it’s there. And now my morning writing is halted. At least temporarily.
There is still this blog, of course. And my photography blog. But it has been so cold I haven’t actually been out taking any pictures. Something I definitely need to change soon.
I suppose now is the time to turn my attention to the 10 years of my old Tinkerings blog. Time to wade through writing after writing to see what might stand the test of time. My thoughts on education. On religion. On faith. On politics.
A compendium of 10 years from a stream of consciousness will be my 2nd book.
But I’ve got time.
I think I’ll take a look at what’s happening on X.

Yes!! Can’t wait to read your book! You know I don’t like the cold🥶 so I can say I’m reading, so I can’t get out in the cold 🤣🤣
Fantastic! Congratulations on finishing the book. I’m very happy for you because you dove in and totally finished it. 🖊️
Let us know when for sale. I’ll be first in line😀
Come on up to New England and have your ice cold coffee when it is 12 degrees out. 💨
We have had some really cold days that we could only do a few laps around the neighborhood.🐾
Life is busy now.
Right now I’m sending copies of past Christmas( black and white) to my siblings.📷
My brother ( your age) said seeing them made him sad. 🩺
My sister said, they looked straight out of old movies. 🎥
My Dad did a great job through the years.
I keep tastefully decorating and decluttering at the same time.
It’s the season to get stuff done in the house. 🎁📯🌲🎄🕯️
