We saw it a few days ago Tim. As it was number 2 on Apple TV ratings we thought it would be worthwhile. We enjoyed both Silo series and they were number 1 on the ratings. But, like you, disappointed. It tries on too many genres. And how many times does Drasa turn around or is found staring at Levi’s direction when in no way, could she know he was looking from across the Gorge (using very powerful binoculars) especially at a random moment at 3am? Anyway, people need to make up their own opinion and find the good and bad of The Gorge!

Thanks for the review, Tim. You also confirm that I still do not need to add another expense, aka. Apple TV, to my digital subscription library. While I do have other subscriptions like Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix and YouTube Plus, there still seems to be a limited library draw to Apple TV. Chances are there are those who have Apple TV that would question my judgement call based on your occasional reviews of Apple TV offerings, good or not so good.

There are two reasons for my call. First, there are ads for things that are ONLY on Apple TV in the mainstream; most times by checking the reviews, I can say: "I'll wait until it is added to another venue." If whatever the movie or series is, why is it ONLY offered on Apple TV if NOT to sell me on Apple TV? It's like the old days when Apple Computers were trying to grab a larger market share of the personal computer market; it was a tough sell until iTunes, iMovie, and iLife were unique or superior to anything on the market at the time. Ditto for the iPhone. Once PC and Android figured things out based on Apple's success, the playing field was leveled. With all the streaming options available, Apple TV simply is not enough of a unique draw; I can live without the few possibilities.

My second reason is far less lengthy to state. Living in a 55+ HOA community that pays for my base cable, internet, landscaping, fitness center, 14 satellite pools, in person clubs, activities, and entertainment for a nominal monthly fee, I'm too busy with the few subscriptions I've got to add another one. Even when I'm traveling the World, if I'm pressed for something in between trivia sessions on a cruise ship or a seeing the sites on a land tour, I can log into what I've got from anywhere and fill in the lull in activity. Color me jaded. Thanks again for the review.
